the L.O.F.T.
the soul care extension of The Simple Farm
The soul sees clear when noise grows quiet.
What if the most transformative thing you could do — was to intentionally slow down?
We live in a world that runs fast and produces fear. Fear of not enough. Fear of falling behind. Fear of being unknown. The antidote isn't trying harder — it's slowing down long enough to be found by love: by God, and by someone who will notice you, hear you, come along-side you in your journey.
"Perfect love drives out fear." — 1 John 4:18
What is The L.O.F. T.? The L.O.F.T. — Love Overcomes Fear & Transforms
The L.O.F.T. is the soul care extension of The Simple Farm, that takes place at what we call the Modern Retreat House in Middle Tennessee.
Around our creekside setting and the Modern Retreat House, we've cultivated quiet spaces for soul refreshment, renewal. . . and for spiritual formation practices (such as prayer, solitude, Sabbath and lectio divina....).

SABBATH TABLE - THE THRESHOLD OF THE SLOW DOWN
(Our) Sabbath Table (Friday evening meal) | Begins a 24-Hour Sabbath | A Day to Slow Down, Rest, and Experience a Full Stop from the World. The Sabbath Table is a threshold into rest — where the week comes to a close. We gather around a meal, light the candles, and walk through a brief Sabbath liturgy — not as a ritual to check off, but as a way of marking the moment: the work is done, and now it's time to stop. To rest. To enjoy what's in front of us. To step out of the chaos of the week and into the beauty of Sabbath. → learn more
