You are not here by accident.
Whatever brought you to this page — weariness, longing, curiosity, or a quiet nudge you can't quite explain — you are welcome here.
The L.O.F.T. exists for people who need to slow down, and aren't sure they remember how.
Here is what we're offering:
PASTORAL SOUL CARE RETREATS
For pastors and their wives — once a month, 1-2 couples at a time
This is not a conference. There is no stage, no schedule packed tight, no performance required.
For 3-4 days, one or two pastoral couples are welcomed into The Modern Retreat House as honored guests. Michael — who pastored for 30 years before stepping into this assignment — and his wife are present not as program directors, but as companions for the journey.
During your time at The L.O.F.T. you will be invited into:
A Friday Sabbath Table experience — creekside in the Orangerie, to slow down and rediscover the gift of rest
Personal ministry and prayer (optional) — , unhurried and unscripted
Space to re-envision — your calling, your marriage, your next season
Encouragement to discover the spiritual rhythms and slow-down practices that nurture resilience and sustain a lifetime of ministry.
Everything is offered freely. You come empty. You leave held.
"Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28
FRIDAY EVENING SABBATH TABLE
Seating 8-10 — By invitation seating in The Orangerie, creekside
Every other Friday evening, the table is set. Candles are lit. A meal is shared. Communion is taken together.
Scripture is read, prayers are offered, and conversation goes to the places that matter most.
This is not dinner with an agenda.
This is an ancient practice — a weekly rhythm of stopping, gathering, and remembering that we are loved.
The Sabbath Table seats 8 to 10 and is offered by invitation. If you'd like to be added to our wait list, we'd love to hear from you.→

and spiritual formation — led in partnership with a certified practitioners.
These are quiet, grounding mornings with encouragement, herbal tea, coffee, and a light lunch served.
You will leave more yourself than when you arrived.
Dates announced seasonally — space is limited.
PARTNERSHIP GATHERINGS
Men's, Women's — In partnership with biblically-based ministries.
with trusted ministries, we host small, intimate gatherings exploring:
Men — fatherhood, marriage, and what it means to lead from a place of wholeness
Women — motherhood, marriage, and the sacred work of nurturing souls
These gatherings are rooted in scripture, honest conversation, and the belief that we were made for community.
Coming soon — follow along for dates.
FARM TO TABLE CANDLELIGHT DINNERS
At the future TSF Farm — Barn gatherings with local chefs
Picture a barn lit by candlelight. A long table. Local chefs preparing a feast from the land.
Neighbors, strangers, and friends becoming something in between.
We are searching for the right piece of land in Middle Tennessee — a small farm with a barn —
where larger gatherings will find their home. When we find it, Friends of the Farm will be the first to know.
All of this is freely given — made possible by the generosity of people who believe the world needs more slow, more love, and more transformation.
